      Mammograms are only available at our Durham and Fayetteville locations.

      Your time is important – to you, your family and us. That’s why screening mammograms performed at Carolina Imaging generally take less than 30 minutes – less time than a typical doctor’s office visit.

      Screening mammograms are the best way to help find breast cancer in its earliest stages, when cure rates are highest. A screening mammogram is for women who do not have significant symptoms. If we find a problem during your screening mammogram, or if you are experiencing unusual symptoms, we may recommend you receive a diagnostic mammogram or other breast imaging procedure to help identify the cause.

      Carolina Imaging is conveniently located on 3628 Cape Center Drive, Fayetteville, NC.

      Offering Open MRI, CT, 3D Mammography, Ultrasound, DEXA, Nuclear Medicine and X-ray, we have provided diagnostic imaging services to the Fayetteville and Fort Bragg community and surrounding areas for over 25 years. Easy parking and hands on assistance from the moment our patients walk through the door are just a few of the advantages Carolina Imaging offers. We know time is important to you so we offer same day appointments for most services as well as evening and weekend hours for MRI appointments. There is complimentary WiFi and coffee for your comfort and convenience. We can retrieve prior records for study comparisons from many hospitals in North Carolina and offer results to your physician within 24 hours of your test.

      We utilize state-of-the-art equipment. We offer the local and surrounding area’s only TRUE Open MRI for claustrophobic patients to help ease anxiety and complete the exam with ease. Carolina Imaging is an ACR accredited facility and all exams are performed by a registered technologist. All images are read by a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist which is included in the cost of the study!

      The cost of our radiology exams are approximately 40-60% less than the hospitals.

      Our radiologists are all board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, which ensures that they have completed rigorous education and training standards. Many of our physicians are certified and fellowship trained in specialty areas, including breast imaging, cardiovascular imaging, computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, neurointerventional, nuclear medicine and pediatric radiology.       I just saw the most respectable things by one of your ladies! I am waiting for my wife and saw an elderly man that was finished with his appointment and was using a cane and moving very slow. That lady employee helped him out of the building and made sure he was safely in his car before she went back inside. That is how respect is shown!!! Wonderful lady!!!

      I visited this location for some imaging to rule out breast cancer. The lady who did my tests was so sweet and compassionate. I was very scared and in a lot of pain, and she went above and beyond to comfort me and get me through the process. I couldn’t have done it without her! That sweet lady deserves a raise! I will try to see her for all my future testing! Her hard work and kindness allowed me to leave with the scare of breast cancer out of my life! I will forever be grateful for that angel who got me through the scariest time of my life!

      ****Edit**** I have changed my review to 5 stars after speaking with the office manager at Carolina Imaging. It would appear that the confusion is coming from my actual doctor's office as I see a PA in that office and the actual doctor in that office DID receive my mammogram but there was a lack of communication on the part of my doctor's office. Because of the mix-up on the mammogram at my doctor's office I am giving Carolina Imaging the benefit of the doubt regarding the results of my ultrasound as well. Thank you for your great customer service Allison and Leonna! The staff was excellent during both of my appointments. Their followup, however, leaves much to be desired. I had a mammogram there on Feb 5th (referred by my doctor). On February 18 they called me back and said that I needed to have an ultrasound done. I made the appointment for Feb 21. I called my doctor on the 18th after receiving the call about my appointment and my doctor's office had not even received the results from the mammogram. They do not know WHO referred me for an ultrasound. or why they felt it was necessary. My doctor's office reached out to them and received the results on the 19th. (I also received a letter in the mail on the 20th from Carolina Imaging stating that they had sent them to my doctor on the 14th.) My doctor called on the 19th and gave me my results. On the 21st I had my ultrasound. They told me that my doctor's office would have the results in 24-48 hours. Today is the 27th. It has been a week. My doctor's office STILL does not have the results. Obviously there is a concern on my part about the possibility of cancer. It is also obvious to me that there is little concern on Carolina Imaging's part to allay my fear.
